Jobreach helps you find hiring posts and send job outreach from your Gmail account. This page explains the data Jobreach handles when you use the website and its optional Chrome extension.
What we collect
- Google account and Gmail: your Google email address and display name, access and refresh tokens, email addresses you choose to contact, sent message details, and Gmail replies used by the reply and follow-up features.
- Content you provide: contacts, email templates and drafts, PDF resumes, and the messages you choose to send.
- LinkedIn searches: search terms, dates, captured post text, links, email addresses appearing in posts, and the matching results saved in your search history. The extension reads LinkedIn search results only when you start a search from Jobreach.
- Technical data: a browser session cookie, temporary data in your browser tab, and basic server request logs such as the requested path and client address.
How we use and share data
We use your Gmail authorization to send messages you confirm and to read replies for the features you request. We send relevant reply text and portions of captured LinkedIn posts to your configured Azure OpenAI service for hiring analysis. Google handles Gmail and sign-in requests. The Chrome extension passes captured posts to the Jobreach page for analysis; it does not send your LinkedIn password or cookies to Jobreach.
Jobreach does not use your data for advertising or sell it. Data from Google APIs is used only to provide the features you request, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and your choices
Account data and search history are stored in a database on the server running Jobreach. Browser tab storage holds some temporary results and selections. Signing out disconnects Gmail from the current browser session but does not delete saved account data. You can delete individual saved resumes, templates, or contacts through the app; other saved data remains until the site operator removes it. If you no longer want Jobreach to access Gmail, revoke its access in your Google Account settings.
